JOB SUMMARY:

Do you love to tinker with tools and enable your teammates to do things faster and better than ever before? Be part of a fast moving, lean product development organization, supporting the Lone Wolf family of Applications. Deliver reliable, scalable new automation and tooling features using the latest in JavaScript, .Net SQL and NoSQL technologies. Collaborate with the Development and Product teams to provide Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery across all Lone Wolf product lines.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Communicate operational requirements to the team.
  • Design and implement infrastructure for delivering and running software services.
  • Be intimately involved in building deployment and testing pipelines, automated infrastructure provisioning and support services such as system and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with your team on building infrastructure as code solutions to ensure smooth fast delivery of new capabilities and environments.
  • Work with teams during the development process to ensure operational aspects are considered and not missed.
  • Have a desire to teach and coach other members of the team

Skills & Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College Degree in a post –secondary program in Computer Science, a related discipline or other relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient at building Linux and Windows based systems and working with server virtualization.
  • Scripting experience - you love building scripts (bash, powershell, python, etc.) to handle manual tasks.
  • Some level of experience with infrastructure provisioning tools (Docker, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
  • If you have experience with any of the following it would be considered a huge asset, but we won’t rip up your resume if you don’t:
    • Continuous integration tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.)
    • Unit testing and automated testing tools
    • Cloud infrastructure provisioning (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Experience administering application servers, web servers, and databases (IIS, Apache, MongoDB, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Nginx, ElasticSearch, Redis, Postgresql, etc.)
